Glossary

This glossary defines the words HyoNova uses on screen and in this documentation. Each term shows its Arabic equivalent. The Arabic terms match the Arabic interface, so you see the same word in the product and in the Arabic documentation.

Terms that describe something that is not available yet, such as channels and Serene, say so in their definition. For the status of every feature, see Available in HyoNova today and Coming to HyoNova.

Adminالمدير العام

The role that runs the company day to day: people, invitations, worlds and settings. Admins cannot see payroll or restricted finance records.

Capacity packحزمة السعة

A one-time purchase of Mail credits, Sign envelopes or Serene credits (a Boost), valid for 12 months.

Certificate of completionشهادة الإتمام

A bilingual PDF that HyoNova Sign creates when a request is completed: who did what and when, document fingerprints and a QR code to the verification page.

Channelالقناة

An open, topic-based conversation. Channels are planned and not available yet.

Characterالشخصية

How you appear in the office. You choose a look and change clothes and appearance in My character.

Companyالشركة

Your organization in HyoNova. It owns its members, offices, work and data, and is fully separated from other companies.

Company workspaceمساحة عمل الشركة

The 2D dashboard of your company: Home, People, Work, Customers, Meetings, Files, Finance, Reports and Settings.

Conversationالمحادثة

A direct message between two people or a named group chat.

Draftالمسودة

Unpublished builder changes. Today drafts are stored in your browser.

Early accessالوصول المبكر

The current stage of HyoNova. Beta features are switched on for workspaces while they are verified.

Employeeالموظف

The standard member role: works on projects, tasks and files, chats, calls and joins meetings.

Evidence sealختم الأدلة

A digital signature made with a HyoNova-managed key over a completed request's evidence, so any later change can be detected. It is not a qualified electronic signature or a trusted timestamp.

Floorالطابق

A level of an office. Current templates have one floor; multiple floors are planned.

Guestالضيف

A visitor who enters one office through a guest link, without a company account.

Hostالمضيف

The person running a meeting. Hosts and co-hosts admit people, mute, and end the meeting.

Hyo Mailهيو ميل

HyoNova's email product, included in every plan: email marketing and transactional email.

HyoNova platformمنصة HyoNova

The HyoNova service and the team that operates it. Platform operators manage plans and shared services; they are not members of your company.

HyoNova SignHyoNova Sign

HyoNova's electronic signature module, in Beta: signature requests, signing without an account, sealed completion evidence and public verification.

Mail creditرصيد البريد

One recipient email sent by Hyo Mail. It is charged once, when the message is handed to the email service. Emails HyoNova sends for the platform itself never use Mail credits.

Managerالمدير

A role that leads work and meetings: assigns tasks to others, moderates meetings and invites guests.

Meetingالاجتماع

A call with several people, with a waiting room, chat, notes and files. It can be linked to a room in the office.

Memberالعضو

A person with an account in your company and a role. Members count against your plan’s seats.

Office builderمنشئ المكتب

The editor that opens from Build office for walls, rooms, doors and furniture.

Ownerالمالك

The role with every permission, including payroll and restricted records.

Permissionالصلاحية

One allowed action, such as creating tasks. HyoNova checks permissions on the server for every request.

Planالخطة

Your company subscription — Free, Basic, Business or Enterprise. It sets seats, worlds, storage, meeting length, included capacity and which features are included.

Presenceالتواجد

Your status that others see: Available, Away or Do not disturb.

Projectالمشروع

A named piece of work with a team, dates and milestones that groups related tasks.

Restrictedموظف بصلاحيات محدودة

A limited member role that can read tasks and files and enter the office. It has no chat, calls, meetings or spatial voice.

Roleالدور

A named set of permissions given to a member.

Roomالغرفة

A named area of an office with a type — such as meeting, workspace, social, focus or lobby — and a capacity.

Seatالمقعد

A licensed seat: an internal member who holds a seat and is active, invited or pending. Paid plans are billed per seat. Guests, external signers and support customers are never seats.

SereneSerene

HyoNova’s company intelligence: ask about your company in text or by voice and get answers with sources, within your own permissions. Serene works once HyoNova connects its AI provider; AI Employees are coming soon.

Serene creditرصيد Serene

The unit of AI work in HyoNova. Every AI feature draws on one company balance of Serene credits, included with your plan and extended with Boosts.

Sign envelopeمظروف التوقيع

The capacity one signature request uses when it is sent. Reminders, certificates and verification use none.

Signature requestطلب التوقيع

One or more PDFs sent through HyoNova Sign to recipients who sign, approve, review or receive a copy, in a set order.

Spatial voiceالصوت المكاني

Voice that connects you with people near you in the same room, and fades with distance.

Taskالمهمة

A single item of work with a status, priority, due date and assignee.

Templateالقالب

A ready-made office layout you choose when you create a world.

Trialالفترة التجريبية

The first 7 days of every new company, on the Business plan, without a card. A company of up to 10 members then continues on Free.

World (office)العالم (المكتب)

A shared 3D office where members appear as characters, meet, talk and open their work.
