Mail and Sign capacity

Hyo Mail and HyoNova Sign are included in every plan. Sending with them uses capacity from your company's wallet: Mail credits for email and Sign envelopes for signature requests. Your plan gives a one-time promotional amount; when you need more, you buy a pack.

You see the Mail balance in Company administration › Billing › Mail credits, and the Sign balance in Sign credits: what is available, where it came from, when each part expires, and a history of every grant, use, return and expiry. People who can read billing see it; buying packs needs permission to manage billing.

What your plan includes#

These are promotional, one-time amounts per company, not monthly allowances:

• Every company receives the Free amounts once, when it is created.
• Each amount is a lifetime ceiling. When you move to a higher plan, you receive only the difference to the higher ceiling, and only after the plan's payment is verified. Moving from Free to Basic adds 4,500 Mail credits and 8 Sign envelopes; later moving to Business adds 5,000 more Mail credits and 15 envelopes.
• Renewals, re-subscribing, and moving down and up again grant nothing more. The ceiling your company reached is kept for good.
• Promotional capacity does not expire.
• Trials. The 7-day Business trial does not add the Business amount: a company on trial has the Free amounts (500 Mail credits). The higher amount is granted after the first verified payment.

Enterprise capacity is arranged with HyoNova sales.

Mail credits#

One Mail credit = one email to one recipient. It is charged once, when the message is handed to the email service.

• A campaign to 1,000 recipients uses 1,000 credits; an email sent through the Mail API or by an automation uses one credit per recipient.
• A retry never charges twice. Each recipient is charged once, however many times the send is attempted.
• Credits come back for email that was never sent. A message the email service permanently rejects, or a recipient left unsent when you cancel a campaign, gets its credit back. A bounce after the email was accepted does not return the credit.
• Test sends are free, up to 100 a day.
• Platform emails never use Mail credits. Sign-in, password reset, invitations, billing and receipts, signature requests and reminders, guest invitations and system notifications are sent by HyoNova itself and are free.

There is no monthly Mail allowance and no daily sending cap on any plan. Credits are the only limit on how much you send.

Delivery pace#

HyoNova paces all sending to stay within its email provider's limits — currently 14 messages per second across the whole platform. Large campaigns are sent in batches at a steady rate, so a very large campaign can be spread over more than one day. Credits are charged as each message is handed over, not when you press Send now.

To protect deliverability for everyone, HyoNova can set a daily safety limit for a company whose bounce or complaint rates are too high, and tells the company why.

Sign envelopes#

One Sign envelope is used when a signature request is sent.

• It is charged in the same step that commits the request. If sending fails before the request is committed, nothing is used.
• Repeating the same send request does not charge again.
• Reminders, certificates of completion and verification never use envelopes.

Capacity packs#

The capacity is added when the payment is verified — by the payment provider's signed confirmation, or by HyoNova's confirmation that a bank transfer arrived — never because the payment page said "thank you".

• Buy a pack in Company administration › Billing › Mail credits (or Sign credits), under Buy more: choose Buy on the pack. You pay with the payment methods shown at checkout (card, PayPal, bank transfer…), and you get an invoice or receipt for it. A pack purchase does not change your subscription. See Payment methods.
• Packs are valid for 12 months from the purchase. This is HyoNova's commercial policy, not a legal requirement.
• Refunds. A pack can be refunded only for its unused share, following HyoNova's refund policy; the matching credits are removed from your wallet.
• Serene Boosts are sold the same way.

The order capacity is spent in#

HyoNova always spends the capacity that expires first:

1. included capacity of the current month (for Serene) — it expires at the end of the month;
2. purchased packs, the one expiring soonest first;
3. promotional and trial capacity, which does not expire, last.

For Mail, this means your packs are used before your promotional credits.

A balance never goes below zero.

Expiry warnings#

People who manage billing are told 90, 30 and 7 days before purchased capacity expires, with the amount and the date. Expired capacity is removed from the balance and listed in the history.
