Drafts and publishing

Builder changes are saved in your browser and are not yet shared with your team.

The office builder keeps your work as drafts and published versions, and lets you keep several layouts side by side in My worlds. This page explains each action — and, most importantly, where the result is stored.

Save a draft#

Select Save draft in the bottom bar, or press Ctrl + S. HyoNova confirms with Draft saved on this device. While there are unsaved edits, the Draft label in the header shows a dot.

You do not lose edits by leaving the builder: Work mode saves the draft automatically before it returns you to walking.

Publish locally#

Each publish increases the version number, shown as Published version at the bottom of the Asset library. The builder keeps the last 12 published versions of each layout in this browser. Restoring an earlier version is not available in the builder interface.

My worlds#

Select My worlds (the folder button in the builder header) to manage the layouts saved in this browser.

Saved worlds shows the layout you are working on and every other layout saved here.

Each card shows the number of spaces, objects and walls, when it was saved, and a Backup tag for automatic backups. Use Search your saved worlds… to find one by name. Before HyoNova opens another layout, it saves the one you had open.

Start a new office layout#

Select New office (the plus button in the header). In Make room for your team., enter an Office name, choose one of nine starting layouts, and select Create office.

The new layout opens in the builder and is saved in My worlds. Like everything in the builder, it exists only in this browser — it does not create a new office world for your company. Company office worlds are created from templates during setup; see Worlds and spaces.

Move a layout to another browser#

Local saves belong to one browser on one computer. To continue on another computer or browser, use Export JSON, move the file, and open it there with Import JSON in My worlds. If you clear this browser's site data, its saved layouts are removed, so export anything you want to keep.
