Billing profile

The billing profile tells HyoNova who it bills. It is used on HyoNova invoices, sent to the payment provider at checkout, and decides the language of billing notices. Every company gets one, filled in from the company name and the owner's email; check it before your first payment.

Fields#

A payment cannot start until the billing name and email are filled in.

Edit the profile#

People who manage billing can edit it in Company administration › Billing. If someone else saved the profile while you were editing, HyoNova asks you to refresh and try again instead of overwriting their change. Every change is audited.

When changes apply#

Your billing details are copied onto each HyoNova invoice when it is issued. A change applies to invoices issued after it; invoices already issued keep the details they were issued with. Card payment invoices are issued by FastSpring with the details given at checkout.

Who receives billing notices#

Billing emails and in-app billing notices go to every active member whose role can manage billing — not to the billing email address. To change who is told, change who can manage billing in Roles and permissions.
