Marketing
Email marketing works today with Hyo Mail. Social publishing, Meta ads, WhatsApp and one omnichannel campaign view are planned.

Marketing in HyoNova is meant to be one place to decide who you want to reach, record their consent, and run a campaign across the channels your customers use — without copying lists between tools. The first channel, email, works today.
What you can do today: email with Hyo Mail#
Hyo Mail is included in every plan. With it, your team can:
- Build an audience — contacts with their consent, CSV import, lists, rule-based segments, sign-up forms with double opt-in, and a suppression list. See Contacts and audience.
- Design emails with a drag-and-drop builder or in HTML, starting from Hyo Mail templates or with the AI designer. See Email builder and templates.
- Send campaigns with pre-send checks, scheduling and A/B tests, and follow delivery, opens and clicks. See Campaigns and analytics.
- Automate email journeys, such as a welcome series. See Mail automations.
- Connect your store — sign-up forms on WordPress, and customers, orders and products from WooCommerce or Shopify. See Connect your store.
Each company verifies its own sending domain before it sends campaigns, and sending uses Mail credits. See Mail and Sign capacity.
By default, Owners and Admins can use Mail. Others can be given access with a custom role.
Planned building blocks#
| Building block | What it is intended to do | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Email audiences and consent | Contacts, lists, segments and consent for email | Available, in Hyo Mail |
| Email campaigns | Newsletters and campaigns | Available, in Hyo Mail |
| Consent on other channels | Record who agreed to hear from you on each channel, and honour opt-outs everywhere | Planned |
| Social publishing | Plan and publish posts to your company's social accounts | Planned |
| Meta ads | Create and follow ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram | Planned |
| WhatsApp campaigns | Send approved messages to customers who opted in on WhatsApp | Planned |
| Omnichannel campaign orchestrator | One campaign that coordinates email, social, WhatsApp and ads, with a single view of results | Planned |
Connecting social accounts, ads and WhatsApp is expected to require your company's own business accounts on those services.
How it is intended to work together#
- Build an audience from the people your company already reaches.
- Check consent for each channel before anyone is contacted.
- Create one campaign and choose its channels.
- See the results together — opens and clicks for email, and the equivalent figures for other channels.
Today, steps 1 to 4 work for email inside Hyo Mail. The other channels are planned.
How Marketing connects to the rest of HyoNova#
- Mail. The email channel. See Hyo Mail.
- Customers. Mail contacts are kept separately from the records in Customers today. Building audiences directly from customer records is part of the planned marketing work.
- Automation. Email journeys work today in Mail automations. Company-wide automation workflows are planned.
- Serene. A planned AI Marketing assistant would help draft content and suggest audiences, with a person approving every send. See AI roadmap.
Principles#
- Consent before contact on every channel.
- A person approves what is published or sent on the company's behalf. In Mail, sending a campaign needs its own permission.
- No hidden spend. Ad budgets would be set and approved by your team.
