Payments are recorded by hand. HyoNova does not collect money from your customers.

Customer invoices are the invoices your company sends to its customers. They live in your company's own finance records, next to your customers and deals in Customers & CRM. They have nothing to do with the invoices HyoNova sends you for your plan, which are in Plans & billing.

Who can create and issue invoices#

Invoices are restricted finance records. By default only the Owner can create, issue and see them. Issuing an invoice and recording a payment must be done by a person: automations and AI cannot do it.

Create a draft invoice#

  1. Start from a customer or a deal. In Finance, create a new invoice and choose the customer, or start from a customer or a deal in Customers & CRM. Starting from a deal fills in its customer for you; nothing is saved until you save the draft.
  2. Fill in the invoice. Enter the invoice number you use, the currency and the due date.
  3. Add lines. Each line has a description, a quantity and a unit amount. An invoice has from 1 to 200 lines. HyoNova computes each line amount and the total from the lines, in whole minor units of the currency (for example cents), so there are no rounding differences.
  4. Save the draft. The invoice is saved as Draft and linked to the customer.

The invoice number, currency and lines are yours to choose; HyoNova does not add tax to customer invoices.

Issue the invoice#

Issuing moves the invoice from Draft to Issued and records when it was issued. From then on its amounts cannot be changed. An issued invoice is counted in Receivables and can take payments. HyoNova does not email the invoice to your customer: send it through your own channel.
